the beautiful hamoa beach.
harvesting the guava, avocado n ulu at the farm.
this small winding path is scattered with fallen african tulips, honey ginger and banana leaves around ever turn. all you can hear us the slight rainfall on the canopy as well as the birds and crickets.
cars drive by on a rickety bridge past this picturesque waterfall, only slowing down to take a quick picture. little do they know the secret “trail”, if you can even call it, that is just beside the bridge, scale down a rock wall and climb over some banyan roots and all of sudden you’re in a secluded paradise, the bridge just barely peeking through. massive trees surround the falls as well as vines and ferns grow along the rock face, the most magical part is the sun shining through the trees and reflecting off the many small falls creating small rainbows all around the waterfall pool.
today we ventured down to venus pools, where you can cliff jump from all around the rocky beach guarded pool into the warmest fifty feet deep water, plus the entertainment of locals jumping from the tallest rock face in the pool.
